The Prompt

Generalise the Tower of Hanoi to four pegs and derive (or implement) a solution strategy. Compare the move count you achieve, for at least one value of n ≥ 10, to the Frame–Stewart conjecture.

Completion Criteria

A written derivation or working implementation, a table of move counts for a handful of n, and a one-paragraph reflection on what the four-peg case reveals about the three-peg case.
