Excavations at Saqqara 1911–12: The Tomb of Hesy

The primary source excavation report for the Hesy-Ra tomb — the most complete iconographic record of Mehen. Contains the original documentation of the game board, the three lions, three lionesses, and six sets of six marbles that constitute the baseline evidence from which all subsequent Mehen scholarship derives.
